The Petersen Industries "CL" line of knuckle boom loaders is an early legacy model of the Lightning Loader. It is designed specifically for lifting heavy bulk tubs and baskets of citrus fruit. Often known as a "Goat", the new design easily accommodated loading large pallet boxes full of fresh fruit onto road-going trucks. Petersen has sold over 3,700 “Goats” since 1958, thousands of which are still working today.
